Dr. S. M. Kayser Azam is now working as academic staff in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has experience working as a telecommunication Power Engineer at Huawei Technologies Ltd. His research interests include antenna sensors, chipless RFID, integrated sensing and communication, microwave components, IoT sensors, AI in RF sensing technology, partial discharge diagnosis, critical infrastructure security, etc. His research earned competitive research grants, including the international fund. He has authored/coauthored many articles in top-tier journals and at reputable international conferences. Some of his research works have been recognised with best paper awards. He has served as a reviewer in IEEE TAP, IEEE TCE, IEEE TIM, IEEE TCS-II, IEEE IoT-J, IEEE TEMC, IEEE ACCESS, and Elsevier's Measurement. He is a member of IEEE and IET.
