I am a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Malaya (UM), where I also earned my Bachelor of Science in Statistics with Distinction, Master of Science, and PhD. My academic and research career is rooted in pure mathematics, with primary expertise in linear and multilinear algebra alongside quantum information sciences. My research focuses on linear preserver problems and the geometry of matrices, particularly involving ranks, tensors, adjacency, and pure states. Currently, I serve as the Principal Investigator for the project "Taming Entanglement: A Linear Algebraic Approach" while co-researching broader applications of mathematical modeling, including urban traffic flow optimization and structural matrix theory. My work is published in peer-reviewed journals such as Linear Algebra and its Applications, Linear & Multilinear Algebra, and the Electronic Journal of Linear Algebra. Beyond research and undergraduate teaching, I mentor PhD and Master's students in matrix theory, serve as an internal examiner and assessor for postgraduate theses, and contribute to administrative leadership and departmental committees within Universiti Malaya. I am an active member of the International Linear Algebra Society (ILAS), the European Mathematical Society (EMS), and a life member of the Malaysian Mathematical Sciences Society (PERSAMA).
