My contributions focus on foreign language teaching, particularly Portuguese, and professional engagement at Universiti Malaya. Since 1997, I have maintained a strong commitment to teaching excellence through communicative and student-centred approaches. I have held leadership roles as Coordinator of Elective Courses and Community Engagement Courses. My work includes curriculum development and the integration of digital technology in Portuguese language instruction. I am actively involved in research on pedagogical innovation and intercultural communication. Over the past five years, I have participated in multiple research grants as Principal Investigator and Co-Researcher, strengthening collaborations with industry, embassies, and educational institutions locally and internationally. Guided by my teaching philosophy, “Language Without Borders,” I promote cultural diversity and global engagement through both face-to-face and online learning. As an HRD Corp Certified Trainer, I also foster academic–industry partnerships with international stakeholders.
