Research Areas
I am interested in foetal programming study utilising rodent model, Investigating on the effects of maternal exposure to drugs or adverse dietary substances on the short and long-term outcomes of pregnancy and offspring health. I am also interested in exploring dietary modifications possible for obesity and metabolic syndrome such as the supplementation of omega-3 fatty acids and other natural products. I am also involved in looking at the effects of obesity and disrupted metabolism (e.g., in metabolic syndrome), on the alteration in circadian rhythms especially at genetic and metabolic levels.
