Dr. Zul Ilham is Associate Professor of Energy and Environment at the Institute of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya. He was a Fulbright Malaysian Scholar at Cornell University, the former Deputy Dean of Research and Innovation and currently the Director of Universiti Malaya Grant Management Centre. His expertise spans in biomass energy and materials solutions, environmental management, and green technology innovations. He is the core member of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities Forest Biomass Ecosystem Living Lab Initiative and expert panel in the ASEAN-UNESCAP Carbon Neutrality Campus Network, tasked to formulate a regional carbon neutral course for university students.
