DR. MOHD IFWAT BIN MOHD GHAZALI

Dr. Mohd Ifwat Bin Mohd Ghazali is a lecturer at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya (UM) and a proud UM alumnus, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Physics. He later earned both his Master’s and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University, USA, specializing in Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) and advanced electronic materials. Before joining Universiti Malaya, Dr. Ifwat taught at several local universities in Malaysia, where he contributed actively to research and curriculum development in Physics and Healthcare Technology. He then continued his academic journey as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge (UK), working under the Department of Engineering and Cavendish Laboratory, focusing on cutting-edge 3D printing and functional materials research. He is an active member of the Young Scientists Network – Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM) and currently serves as the Head of the Energy Research Group under YSN-ASM, leading initiatives that integrate sustainable energy, materials innovation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
