Dr. Mohd Haniff Zainuldin is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Business & Economics, Universiti Malaya, with over 15 years of academic experience. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of South Australia (UniSA), specialising in financial reporting, Islamic banking, and ethics, as well as a Master of Accountancy from UiTM and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide. Dr. Haniff plays a significant role in professional accreditation and academic quality assurance. He has served as a Panel Assessor for accounting program accreditation, an External Examiner for ACCA-accredited diploma programs, and an External Course Reviewer for advanced accounting programs. He was also the Liaison Officer for ICAEW-UM and a member of the ICAEW Strategic Credit Papers Committee, ensuring alignment between academic curricula and professional certification standards. His research focuses on environmental, social and governance (ESG), financial reporting, corporate governance, and Islamic finance, with publications in high-impact journals. He has secured multiple external research grants, including funding for ESG performance models for banks in Malaysia. Dr. Haniff actively contributes to shaping the future of accounting education, bridging academia and professional practice.
