Mohd Hafiz Jamaludin is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Shariah and Law, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. He specializes in Islamic Law of Transaction, Fatwa and Society, and Islamic Financial Services Law (including Islamic Banking and Takaful). His research bridges classical Islamic jurisprudence with modern applications in finance, law, and society. He has led and collaborated on numerous national and international projects funded by the Ministry of Education, Universiti Malaya, and INCEIF, producing impactful scholarship in Shariah law, fatwa methodology, and Islamic finance.
