Dr. Francis Tieng Yew Fu is a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, with a robust research portfolio and teaching expertise. He is the accomplished author of 15 journal articles, including 7 in Q1 journals and one ranked in the top 1%, alongside 6 copyright applications. Dr. Francis specializes in single-cell RNA sequencing, oncology, and innovative 3D printing for medical devices. Dr. Francis received several awards, including the First Prize and Best Poster Award at the YSN-ASM Chrysalis Award 2023, and the First Prize for the Young Researcher Award at the International Microbiome and Diagnostic Forum (IMDF) 2022. Proficient in molecular biology, bioinformatics, and statistical analysis, he excels in multidisciplinary research and mentoring. Passionate about community engagement, he has organized impactful events such as seminars, health screenings, and professional workshops. He is also a member of the Asia Pacific Microbiome & Biomedical Research Network (AMBeR) and the  Association for Single Cell Analysis (ASCA).
