Fatin Nur Majdina Nordin is a Senior Lecturer in the Programme of Applied Science with Islamic Studies, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. Her research focuses on Health Education and Promotion, particularly health literacy, health and risk communication, cosmetic safety, and informed consumer decision-making through the integration of scientific evidence and Islamic perspectives. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science with Islamic Studies (Biohealth Science), an MPhil in oral health, and a PhD in public understanding of science. Her research interests include halal and sustainable consumption, behavioural sciences, health ethics, and community-based initiatives promoting mental health literacy, self-care, holistic well-being, and resilient communities.
