Dr. Farrah Dina Yusop is an expert in instructional technology, online learning, and curriculum design. She holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instructional Technology (CIT) and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from Iowa State University, USA. Formerly the Director of Universiti Malaya’s then Academic Enhancement and Leadership Development Center (ADeC), she led online learning initiatives and faculty development programs. An award-winning researcher, Dr. Farrah has published over 73 articles, 46 in high-impact journals, and authored seven academic books. Her research impact is reflected in her h-index (Scopus: 15, WoS: 7, Google Scholar: 26, ResearchGate: 22). She developed the Civic-Minded Instructional Designer (CMID) framework and received the Outstanding Journal Article Award (AECT) for her 2014 BJET article. She contributes to global education through transdisciplinary projects in digital skills, healthcare, and talent management, including an Erasmus+ initiative with 11 global partners. A sought-after national and international speaker, she serves on committees such as AUN-TEPL, MEIPTA, MAGNETIC, and SULAM. Her contributions to education have earned multiple national and international awards, solidifying her reputation as a leader in instructional technology and curriculum innovation.
