I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, specializing in membrane fabrication, green technology, and sustainable water treatment. With a PhD from Imperial College London, my research focuses on advancing water and wastewater treatment technologies, including energy-efficient solutions for treatment plants and safe drinking water provision for rural communities. I collaborate with local wastewater operators to optimize plant performance and explore resource recovery from agro-industrial wastewater using microbial fuel cell technology. My work also extends to green energy innovations, aiming to develop sustainable solutions for environmental challenges.
