I am a senior lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, specialising in membrane fabrication and applications, as well as green technology, holding a PhD from Imperial College London. Currently, I am actively involved in research aimed at advancing water and wastewater treatment technologies. I collaborate closely with local wastewater treatment operators to improve energy efficiency and overall plant performance. Additionally, I am involved in projects aimed at ensuring drinking water quality from raw sources for rural communities.My research interests include sustainable water and wastewater treatment processes, microbial fuel cell technology for resource recovery/upcycling from agro-industry wastewater, and advancements in green energy technologies.
