Dr. Chanthiriga Ramasindarum is a Senior Research Officer at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Malaya. Previously, she worked at Research Cluster Office under Research Cluster Health and Well-being for the past 2 years. She had 11 years of experience working at the Biomaterial Research Laboratory, Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Malaya. Her research mainly focuses on dental material and material science. She is a trainer for the Endnote program, and she has done more than 12 workshops in a year at the Faculty of Dentistry for all the lecturers, postgraduates, and researchers. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree (with Hons) from the Universiti Malaya in Applied Chemistry in 2003. She had a 6-month R&D training on catalysis at the Institute of Technology of Chemical University of Polytechnic, Valencia, SPAIN in 2005. She completed her MSc (Advanced Material) at the University of Malaya in 2008. She is an elected member of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry (IKM) and a treasurer for Persatuan Alumni Indian University Malaya (PANIUM). Chanthiriga was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in dental material in 2019. She has a particular interest in chemistry, mainly on nano-materials and biomaterials.
