Chris is a Senior Research Officer (Q13) at the Universiti Malaya Centre for Civilisational Dialogue (UMCCD), driving strategic research on cross-cultural values and universal frameworks for global challenges. He provides editorial leadership for international publications including the Journal of Research Management & Governance (JRMG), Journal of KATHA, and Jurnal Peradaban. He holds a BSc. in Science and Technology Studies (2009) and MPhil. in Civilisational Dialogue (2016) from Universiti Malaya. Notable achievements include serving as Malaysian youth delegate to the 1st Global Model United Nations (2010) and receiving the Data Stewardship Award from Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof (2023) for excellence in open science data stewardship. His research portfolio encompasses bioethics and biosafety policy, water security and ecosystem management, civilisational dialogue for national cohesion, research governance, sustainable development and planetary health leadership, inclusive community development, green finance and climate policy, and interfaith peace-building.
