Dr. Azlina Abdul Jalil is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya, where she currently serves as the Bachelor of Accounting Programme Coordinator. She holds a PhD in Accounting from Deakin University, Australia, a Master of Accountancy from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. In her academic capacity, Dr. Azlina instructs both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Corporate Accounting and Accounting Research Methodology. She maintains a strong commitment to academic mentorship and research advancement, having successfully supervised 14 Master's theses and 3 PhD dissertations to completion. Her research interests are in the area of financial reporting and disclosure, sustainability reporting, and corporate governance, with an ongoing focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) integration and firm performance.
