Dr. Aslina Pahrudin Arrozi is a Senior Lecturer in Molecular Medicine at Universiti Malaya, specializing in molecular neuroscience, molecular pathology, and cognitive health. Her research addresses brain health across the lifespan. Her lab operates as a translational platform evaluating natural bioactive compounds to combat neuroinflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction, and protein aggregation across diverse neurodegenerative disorders and tauopathies. Combining bioenergetics, cellular physiology, and functional assessments, Dr. Aslina actively collaborates with natural product chemists, bioengineers, data scientists, and clinicians to develop novel neuroprotective therapies and diagnostic biomarkers.
