Dr. Asiful Habib is a researcher and academic specializing in electrical machine design, renewable energy, and electric vehicles, currently serving as a Lecturer at the Universiti Malaya Power & Energy Dedicated Advanced Centre (UMPEDAC).He earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering (2024) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), he also holds an M.Phil. (2020) from the University of Malaya, where his research centered on electrical machines and power systems.Dr. Habib gained extensive experience as a Research Assistant at UKM and UMPEDAC, contributing to the development of a smart transportation system laboratory integrating renewable energy, lightweight generators, and EV battery thermal management. Skilled in Ansys Maxwell simulations, hardware testing, and power system resilience, he has authored ISI-indexed journal articles, IEEE conference papers, and a book chapter. His work is dedicated to advancing sustainable energy and next-generation machine design.
