Professor Dr Ilhaamie is a faculty member at the Department of Islamic Management and Finance, Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya. She currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Online Journal of Islamic Management and Finance (OJIMF). She has previously held several key administrative and leadership roles at Universiti Malaya, including Head of Department, PhD Coordinator, External Relations Coordinator, and Head of the Leadership and Wellbeing Unit at ADeC. Professor Dr Ilhaamie has an extensive research and publication record, with works published in high-impact indexed journals such as Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus, as well as in books, book chapters, conference proceedings, and national newspapers. Her research has been widely disseminated through presentations at international conferences across the United Kingdom, Australia, South Korea, Spain, and Italy. Her scholarly contributions have been recognised through multiple awards, including gold medals at both national and international levels. In 2024, she was appointed Visiting Professor at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and she previously held a fellowship at the University of Wollongong, Australia in 2013. In addition to her academic work, Professor Dr Ilhaamie is actively involved in consultancy and advisory services at both national and international levels, including engagements with the Ministry of Human Resources and the OECD.
