I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Hashim Sani Centre for Palestine Studies, Universiti Malaya. My primary research interests lie in the fields of translation studies, applied linguistics, and education technology, with a particular focus on the intersections between translation, artificial intelligence, and language education. I have also authored several works on Palestine, contributing to the academic discourse on the region's language, culture, and translation practices. In addition to my research, I have been an invited speaker and presenter at over 45 international conferences globally, where I share my expertise in translation and applied linguistics. I am a seasoned interpreter with over 150 conferences and events in my background, which informs my academic work and deepens my understanding of the practical challenges in translation and communication. I am the founder and CEO of the Asian Federation of Translators and Interpreters in Malaysia, an organization dedicated to advancing the field of translation and interpretation across the region. I also serve on the editorial boards of the Cambridge Scholars of Language & Linguistics (UK) and the International Journal of Applied Linguistics and Translation (USA), where I contribute to the development of scholarship in these fields. Throughout my career, I have published numerous peer-reviewed papers, books, and book chapters, with a particular focus on the intersection of linguistics, technology, and translation. My academic work continues to be shaped by my passion for advancing language education and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
