RESEARCH ACHIEVEMENT
Research Areas
My area of expertise is cancer pharmacology, with a particular focus on the molecular mechanisms underlying chemoresistance in colorectal cancer. My research encompasses Annexin A1, cancer stem-cell biology, apoptosis and molecular signalling pathways, with expertise in preclinical cancer research using in vitro and in vivo animal models, including tumour xenograft models. My work is increasingly focused on translating mechanistic findings into novel therapeutic strategies, particularly through extracellular vesicle/exosome-based approaches and CRISPR/Cas9-based molecular targeting.
