He is an enthusiastic academic and researcher with a strong foundation in accounting, management, and public sector studies. Currently a Lecturer at Universiti Malaya’s Foundation Centre (PASUM), he teaches Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Economics, and related subjects across various campuses, including an offshore programme in Xi’an, China. He holds a Master of Philosophy (Management) by Research and a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) from Multimedia University, where he earned consistent Dean’s List recognition and demonstrated excellence in leadership and academic performance. His research focuses on accrual-based accounting adoption and True and Fair View (TFV) reporting practices in the Malaysian public sector, particularly among Federal Statutory Bodies. He has published in Scopus- and ERA-indexed journals, co-authored accepted book chapters, and presented in prominent academic conferences. Beyond academia, he has worked as a consultant for research grants assessing the socio-economic impact of COVID-19 on Malaysia’s B40 communities. His active role in student leadership, community programmes, and international collaborations reflects his commitment to holistic education and societal contribution. He combines academic rigor, teaching innovation, and practical insight to support effective learning, impactful research, and public service transformation.
