BIOGRAPHY


CHIEW Poh Shin (周宝芯, 周寶芯) is a senior lecturer at the Department of Malaysian Languages and Applied Linguistics, Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya. She completed her Bachelor till PhD degree at Nanjing Normal University, with Chinese Philology. Her main research interest is in the areas of Phonetics and Phonology, particularly especially suprasegmental features, varieties of Chinese and Chinese as a second/ international language (focus on acquisition).
