BIOGRAPHY

Mr Azfar Shamin is a language lecturer at the Department of English Language, Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya. He earned his Bachelor of Education degree in the field of Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from Universiti Malaya.

His teaching portfolio covers a range of undergraduate subjects. Among the courses he handles are Proficiency in English, Writing at the Workplace, Effective Oral Communication, and English and the Performing Arts. Alongside his teaching responsibilities, he also oversees the faculty’s academic journal (Journal of Modern Languages) as its manager and serves as the committee member for the faculty's newsletter (/bɪts ənd baɪts/).

Outside his professional commitments, Mr Azfar is deeply interested in creative pursuits, especially the English theatre.
