Started as contract IT officer at 2007 and got permanent position at 2009. After few years of hard work got promoted to F44 on 2015. On 2020 started a new role as Network unit head. Some of main responsibilities are:

Managing 13 technical staffs. Current role is managing unit budget allocation, project paperwork submission, tender process submission, project management, monitor helpdesk reports, monitor overall network performance (wireless, wired and CCTV), organize network townhalls,, involve in UM main events, committee for tender spesification requirements, ensure network unit SLA’s fulfilled and prepare project progress reports to Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi.

During 2020 - 2025 have completed few main projects which is:

Projects completed (2020 – 2025)

MCMC Phase 1 wireless network upgrade

• Phase one include college 7, Sastera, Medical, Engineering and Science faculty. Involve planning with MCMC. Total AP changed 2400 units. Compiled requirements for total wireless AP needed. Handled discussion with faculty representive to ensure requirements for upgrade are complete. Project complete within 1 month.

Kolej 1 wireless network upgrade

• Managing and monitoring the project.
• Total cost RM 700,000
• Changing all AP to in-room concept with total AP of 279 unit using fiber optic technology

Backbone switches upgrade

• Changing 2 unit core switches and 18 zone core switches. Project leader in planning and execution of changing all the backbone switches. Ensure project to complete according to timeline.
• Cost involve RM 5 million
• Project complete in 3 months,
• Project include changing and redesign the whole network topology in UM
• Dealing with Deans at faculty, ICT support at Faculty, students

Datacentre Spine and Leaf Switch

• Project lead to replace old legacy datacentre switch and design to new spine and leaf switch. Involved total redesign of datacentre architectire.
• Rearrangement all virtual machine and servers to connect according new design. New design with 2 spine switches and 10 leaf switches with 160gb backbone capability.
• Project completed within 3 months with total cost RM 2.6 million.

Network Cat5 cable upgrade to Cat5 cable

• Involve in changing total 4700 Cat5 datapoints
• Main responsibilities to ensure project completion within timeline 6 months

Responsibilities: - To develop an online system for University Technology Mara and Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM). - To develop a web portal for Maktab Rendah Sains Mara Kuala Kubu Bharu - Managing all the proses for the smart card integration at Maktab Rendah Sains Mara Kuala Kubu Bharu. - Maintaining, installing network and installing software's for Trius Computers Pusat Multimedia at Institut Bahasa Melayu Malaysia. - Contacting suppliers for quotation to complete a tender for supplying computer at University Technology Malaysia. - Provide training on computer to Institut Bahasa Melayu Malaysia students when needed.
