BIOGRAPHY


Dr Nor Nazrina Mohamad Nazry is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Malaya (UM). She obtained her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Sheffield, UK. She started her academic career in the education line at UM in 2019. However, she has been involved in this fascinating growing field since 2006, back at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris as a research assistant in digital learning. Her research interest is mainly in immersive learning, particularly teaching and learning in virtual reality and pedagogies using serious games. Nevertheless, she is also keen on related areas to instructional technology, such as computing education and human behaviour, and generative artificial intelligence for future learning. She has published articles in WoS, Scopus and Malaysian/international refereed journals. Besides, her recent research works are related to inclusive digital instructions, virtual learning experiences and technology applications for educational content. As a Postgraduate Dip in Education field coordinator, she has actively trained pre-service teachers for engineering education, design and technology, and computer science. Also, she has been invited as a trainer for extended reality workshops, a yearly academic jury of innovation competitions and a reviewer for international and local journals.
