DR. SITI ZAIDAH BINTI ZAINUDDIN

Siti Zaidah Zainuddin is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English Language. Her primary research interests lie in discourse studies, particularly genre analysis in both written and spoken academic discourse and corpus linguistics. In the field of language learning, she works on second language writing using several perspectives and frameworks as well teacher-learner interaction. Her publications address various topics on academic discourse practices including language and rhetorical strategies in oral defense and thesis writing by postgraduate students, and teacher agency. Zaidah holds several research grants focusing on genre studies in academic and legal discourses and teacher’s agency in language classrooms. She teaches both the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. In addition to teaching and research, Zaidah has served as a UG program coordinator, Industrial Training coordinator for the English Language Department and the coordinator and consultant for various language programs with private organisations.

DR. NORA SAKINA BINTI MOHD NOOR

Dr. Nora Sakina Mohd Noor graduated from the University of Malaya dental school in 2007 before serving the Ministry of Health for 2 years. She later joined the Faculty of Dentistry as a trainee lecturer in 2009 and subsequently pursued her specialist training in restorative dentistry in 2010. She received her Master's in Clinical Dentistry in Restorative Dentistry from University of Malaya in 2014. Currently, she is a lecturer in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, University Malaya with a special interest in endodontics and dental education. Dr. Nora Sakina headed the postgraduate Endodontic module coordinator from Year 2014 to 2019 and currently heads the Endodontic module for undergraduate teaching and is the coordinator for the Master in Oral Sciences (Restorative Dentistry) program. She is also a member of curriculum development for the preparation for the new Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontology programs by the University Malaya. She runs the undergraduate teaching in endodontics and contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Operative and Endodontics. Dr Nora Sakina is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England for the Restorative Specialty Membership Examination (RSME) since May 2021 and is also currently involved in various research and grant collaborations with National Sports Centre, CryoCord, and artificial intelligence in dentistry together with EM²AI Pte Ltd, Singapore.

ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. NG BOON KWEE

NG Boon Kwee is Associate Professor at the Department of Science and Technology Studies, Universiti Malaya where he teaches technological innovation management, science policy and industrial development. He is currently the Head of Department of Science and Technology Studies. He obtained his PhD in the field of Technological Innovation Management from Universiti Malaya in 2011. His research primarily focuses on Policy and Management of Science and Technology with special areas of interest include industrial science and technology policies, cluster innovation, and innovation for inclusive development. Most of his published works highlight the important roles of social networks and embeddedness for national and regional innovation systems. He is currently leading research projects on social innovation and inclusive development. He has been invited as consultant or resource person of consultancy projects commissioned by both international and national agencies, such as Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), International Development Research Centre Canada (IDRC), Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and Academy of Sciences Malaysia. He is the recipient of Asian Universities Alliance (AUA) Scholars Award 2019-2020. He is currently the Editorial Broad Member of Asian Journal of Technology Innovation, member of International Scientific Committee of ASIALICS (Asian Association of Learning, Innovation and Co-evolution Studies) and member of Steering Commitee of Malaysia National Science Center collaborative network.
