The paper was published as an extended abstract in the proceedings publication for an international conference titled Sustainable Forest Management and Poverty Alleviation: Roles of Traditional Forest Related Knowledge . The conference organised by the China Academy of Forestry, IUFRO and FAO, was held in Kunming, China between 17th -20nd December, 2007.
