Hamid A. Jalab received his degree in Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from University of Technology-Baghdad, Iraq, M.Sc. & Ph.D. degrees in Computer System from Odessa National Polytechnic University. He is currently a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology in University of Malaya, Malaysia. His area of research interest is signal processing, digital image processing, wavelets, neural networks and image retrieval. His research work has been published in several international journals and conference publications.
